I need to geotag every photo from trip to .gpx track, but GPX Logger accidentaly stopped. Luckly, i has turned on Google location history.

  1. Takeout location history from google.
  2. Extract .json file
  3. trigger the following commands
git clone https://github.com/Scarygami/location-history-json-converter.git

py location-history-json-converter-master/location_history_json_converter.py -f gpx -s 2017-05-06 -e 2017-05-07 "Takeout/Location History/Records.json" "Takeout/Location History/Records.gpx"

How to use pandoc to generate HTML from GitHub-flavoured markdown

Here is a little recipe for generating html from github-flavoured markdown. CSS extracted and modified from https://github.com/sindresorhus/github-markdown-css on 22-05-2019. At some point this CSS will probably have to be updated, but for now it works.

  1. Install pandoc 2.x or higher

  2. Save github-markdown.css (below) to ´~/.pandoc/github-markdown.css´

  3. To convert a file called README.md (change as appropriate) run ´pandoc --standalone -c ~/.pandoc/github-markdown.css -f gfm -t html README.md´

Motivation

  • expression-oriented programming one of the great advances of FP
  • expressions plug together like legos, making more malleable programming experience in-the-small

Examples

Write in an expression-oriented style, scoping variables as locally as possible:
