Setting up Simplemenu on the Powkiddy v90 with MiyooCFW; the proper way

Setting up Simplemenu

In order to get everything to work, first we need to set up Simplemenu as intended, let me give you a summary:

0. First of all, I would like to mention and thank these two guides that made this whole thing possible: [1] and [2] below.

I have compiled a simplemenu zip that I will be attaching to this gist.

1. Download it. To download, please go to my simplemenu github repository releases section and unzip it inside your v90's SD card on the folder /mnt/apps/simplemenu

Important note for MacOS users attempting to do this guide

Before proceeding further, after pasting the simplemenu folder onto apps:
Go to /mnt/apps/simplemenu/scripts/autoexec.sh and uncomment the line indicated within the script. It should start by find /mnt/ -name ... .
This will allow you to clean your dot files generated by MacOS from your SD card on every boot.

2. Once you do this. Unplug your SD card from your PC and load it on your v90.

3. Turn on your system. Once it loads, press on R1/L1 to switch menus until you find the applications menu.

4. Find the Explorer app and run it.

5. Once inside, go to the simplemenu folder ( apps -> simplemenu ) and run the file deploy.sh

6. Wait a few seconds. It will display everything it's doing to the system. After a while it will shutdown.

7. Turn on the device again. If everything is done correctly, turn on the device once again and hopefully it should boot automatically onto simplemenu.
