Hoping is what you do when you invest. It's a bet against misfortune
The place of hope is often understated
It's lack of it that makes a politician steal billions for his future grandkids.

It's hope that makes a poor man put in the work, to change his status.
Hope is trusting that your kid comes home alive without a Ted Bundy type story
Hope is all everyone hangs on to with their health. With a news of terminal illness, hope suddenly is everything
It's lack of hope that wearies the heart the most.
Hope is hopeful, recursively

Hope in itself is wealth.
Hope overdose is also borderline stupid. It's the reason gamblers lose it all after a good win. 
You hold on to that bad job not because of job security, but lack of adequate hope for something better
Hope delayed weakens the heart- Bible

Hope is all you are banking on in a union. That your spouse would not kill you someday. Or walk away.
In one lifetime, you hope you come out having given it your all.
