I do not try it but I guess it does. You may need to check before commit if there are some undesired files but it may cover it pretty nicely.
Thanks for sharing, is important to include this file in the root folder of the local repository before doing your first "git add" if you already have some file in the repository you can check this question in stackoverflow - https://stackoverflow.com/questions/31543997/make-git-ignore-dll-pdb-and-similar-generate-files
From Dot.Net core 3.0, .gitignore can be easily added by simple command. Run "dotnet new gitignore" on project root folder.

That command allows uploading some files from the .vscode folder, is that normal? I understood that the entire folder was not uploaded.

As far as I know, yes. Give it at try and let us know if you find any issues

Wow!
Hey man, I was reading the paket docs and there they recommend do set those lines for the .gitignore related to the paket files/folders:
Make sure to add the following entries to your
.gitignore
:
#Paket dependency manager
.paket/
paket-files/
Can you please change this file according to this information?
Btw, I got this information in this page. It is written immediately before the section called "Install the Paket bootstrapper (legacy)".
Thanks
thanks
