Chapter 1 :: You've been lied to about Bitcoin

There are a vocal bunch of crypto insiders know in the industry as "Bitcoin Maximalists" and these cultish fiends wand you to believe that you should only be HODLing Bitcoin and you shouldn't touch anything else. In fact, it is their assertion that everything else is 💩. That would be a lie. All you have to do to disprove them, is look to any other cryptocurrency and read it's whitepaper. Insiders know this, but, the assumption is that they can tell you anything because you won't read the whitepaper. Whitepaper sounds super academic and that scares a LOT of people away. Let me be the first to tell you; most of these whitepapers are extremely short and written in a conversational style as opposed to what you might expect in an academic space. Sure, some of the early papers were written in a very theory-heavy language; however, most don't do this, so you should expect newer cryptocurrencies whitepapers to be extremly digestable.

So, what should a whitepaper entail?

  1. It details the financial problems the given blockchain network and it's native token (i.e. Ethereum Network & ETH token) are meant to solve and how they will solve those problems.
  2. Software available (i.e. Wallets) and financial features.
  3. Roadmap
  4. Tokenomics
  5. Technical Specification
  6. Team
