Load a UIWebView in iOS that can also load local resources like images, CSS, and JavaScript
// An example viewDidLoad
- (void)viewDidLoad
{
[super viewDidLoad];
[self loadWebView];
}
// The example loader
//
// Assumes you have an IBOutlet for the UIWebView defined: @property (strong, nonatomic) UIWebView *wv;

Better local require() paths for Node.js

Better local require() paths for Node.js

Problem

When the directory structure of your Node.js application (not library!) has some depth, you end up with a lot of annoying relative paths in your require calls like:

const Article = require('../../../../app/models/article');

Those suck for maintenance and they're ugly.

Possible solutions

This NSOperationQueue's category solves very simple task. Now you can add completion callback to NSOperationQueue instance.

Category on UIViewController: recursive function to present a modal View Controller anywhere in the application. Example: [self.window.rootViewController presentViewControllerFromVisibleViewController:myViewController]; Works with application using only UINavigationController and modal views. Can be enhanced to handle UITabBarController or other…
- (void)presentViewControllerFromVisibleViewController:(UIViewController *)viewControllerToPresent
{
if ([self isKindOfClass:[UINavigationController class]]) {
UINavigationController *navController = (UINavigationController *)self;
[navController.topViewController presentViewControllerFromVisibleViewController:viewControllerToPresent];

Mark designated initializer at compile time
#define MSDesignatedInitializer(__SEL__) __attribute__((unavailable("Invoke the designated initializer `" # __SEL__ "` instead.")))
// Sample usage:
- (instancetype)initWithObject:(id)object;
- (instancetype)init MSDesignatedInitializer(initWithObject:); // <- This even gets auto-complete.
// Now calling init on this class would throw a warning.
