| V380 Pro cameras have rtsp/onvif disabled by default. This can be unlocked by inserting an SD-card into the camera. | |
| A step-by-step guide can be found below: | |
| 1) Download the V380 Pro app from the App Store or Google Play | |
| 2) Register or continue without registering | |
| 3) Boot your camera and couple it to the application | |
| 4) Set a custom username and password for your camera | |
| 5) Download the 'ceshi.ini' file and put it on the root of a micro SD card (so not in a subfolder) | |
| 6) Power down the camera, insert the SD card and boot the camera | |
| 7) The camera will talk in chinese, wait for 5 minutes (probably shorter, but to be sure) | |
| 8) Power down the camera, remove the SD card, delete the file and power up the camera | |
| 9) Connect to your camera using the protocol rtsp://username:password@ipaddress:554/live/ch00_0 | |
| 10) DONE | |
| A great way to test is downloading/using VLC and opening a network stream. |
worked like a charm. there was a onvif setting under advanced in the android app to turn on, but otherwise, THANK YOU! I thought I bought a cam that was rtsp ready, and was not happy to find it wasn't, so this is great. for the record, bought the COSULAN Light Bulb Camera, 360 Panoramic Security Camera, on amazon.
do that camera allows listening the audio through it?
I have a camera from about 5 years ago, I tried the SD card method, it works, but for some reason there is no username or password I just access at rtsp://192.168.0.24:554/live/ch00_0 (or ch00_1). the onvif menu does not appear after I do that, any solution to set a username and password because I dont want to expose it to the internet yet, it will get hacked because of that or anyone who accesses the network and is smart to check for cameras
edit, I might try the android app because the iOS does not show

You might have to enable it through sd card method, the audio for me does not work. Only through the app

this is the old version of this model, the new one has the card slot under the lens and not on the side. The new model also (probably) has new hardware/firmware! And that's almost certainly why the ceshi file doesn't workYes, I bought one off TEMU and can't use VLC or iSpy - sucks!
Not only for you. I can't use VLC or any other programs no sound and no picture but onvif works:(

No spaces btw. So it should be rtsp_enable=1 and not rtsp_enable = 1

I've tried several files and methods, but haven't gotten a satisfactory result. Has anyone found anything additional? I'm sharing my firmware version.

I managed to view the rtsp stream from the url in the guide but there is no audio in the stream
anyone managed to see flags for "Humanoid detection"
i don't need the picture ... i just need to read "or receive events" when humanoid is detected

My camera HYE-E692D can be used in the v380 pro app but i cant connect with ODM and milestone XProtect surveilance software.
I tried everything, the ODM shows as this:
I can acess it via VLC and PotPlayer:
but i cant get signal from ODM app.
i can load the device in Milestone using legacy driver but i get no signal just like in ODM.
tried password, http, rtsp, port change, firewall off, port fowarding, ceshi.ini, etc.
in the v380 pro app, the onvif configuration is the only thing that appears, but it wont have any effects, i dont have encoding settings as usual, im ready to junk this garbage out.
Cant even understand how can i have a password from the camera sticker itself and set another one on the app, neither of them seems to do anything.
I bought a three-lens camera, model MOC-Z23G-W, which works with the V380PRO app. I can’t get ONVIF/RTSP to work. When I use ceshi.ini, the camera responds in Chinese (as expected), but after reboot no new settings show up. I’ve tried all the parameters that worked for me on other cameras, but no luck here. Telnet also doesn’t activate.
Has anyone run into this before?

Your problem is the same as mine. The cause is the encoding settings on your v380 CCTV use H265 while ODM only supports H264, if you have the v380 pro application you can change it in the camera settings but if the option does not disappear then you are lucky unlike me who before activating onvif with the micro sd method for setting encoding settings H264 / H265 was still there, but after I activated onvif the option disappeared and my CCTV automatically used H265. If the encoding settings option is missing, I still haven't found a solution other than changing the firmware😭
Do other users have a solution to get my encoding settings back or at least to H264 without having to change the firmware🤔?

How can I set a username and password on the V380E camera, I tried using telnet into camera but I can't find any user/password?

Try using the v380 pro application on your smartphone. Usually there are settings to change the CCTV name and password.
does this work with solar 4g cameras?
Hey, does anyone know why the stream is accessible via RTSP without a password? I'm almost positive the camera has a password set, but you can just connect straight to rtsp://192.168.XX.YY:554/
Does anyone know why my CCTV settings in the V380 Pro application on Android for encoding settings H.264 or H.265 disappeared after activating ONVIF, even though before ONVIF appeared or was activated the encoding settings were already there but after activating it they disappeared. Because of that, I tried turning off the onvif then resetting the cctv but after connecting it again the onvif settings were active again, therefore I used ceshi.ini then just changed the number one to zero then reset then reconnected and the onvif settings were gone but the encoding settings were still not there.🤔?
How did You access the camera VIA onvif? Could You share details pls? As I have the same camera but Ive been unable to access it through ONVIF
