This gist shows how to create a GIF screencast using only free OS X tools: QuickTime, ffmpeg, and gifsicle.
To capture the video (filesize: 19MB), using the free "QuickTime Player" application:
#!/usr/bin/env python
import sys,csv | |
for row in csv.reader(sys.stdin):
print "\t".join(row) |
#!/bin/bash | |
curl -ks https://gist.githubusercontent.com/nicerobot/1622504/raw/gist-backup.py | USER=${USER} python3 |
#!/usr/bin/perl | |

# Thanks to Aquamacs Project and David Reitter

my $tmpfiles = ""; | |

First, install the following libraries:
$ brew install unixodbc
$ brew install freetds --with-unixodbc
FreeTDS should already work now, without configuration:
$ tsql -S [IP or hostname] -U [username] -P [password]
locale is "en_US.UTF-8"
locale charset is "UTF-8"

This file remaps the key bindings of a single user on Mac OS X 10.5 to more
closely match default behavior on Windows systems. This makes the Command key
behave like Windows Control key. To use Control instead of Command, either swap
Control and Command in Apple->System Preferences->Keyboard->Modifier Keys...
or replace @ with ^ in this file.
Here is a rough cheatsheet for syntax.
Key Modifiers |

# Underlined if git status is dirty.
# Uppercase (Λ) if ahead of the remote.

else | |
